If you have installed the extension as explained in Installation instructions you should now be able to upload and save text and images from other websites directly into your account.
Let's say you are interested in Mona Lisa and you found a picture from Leonardo da Vinci's painting. Then just right-click on the image and choose 'add image to select-arrange' as shown below:
This will open a new window -- and yes, if you upload a big image this may take some seconds. To actually save a so called fragment (this can be text or an image) you need to give it a title and at least a tag. A tag is like a category or a label and is later used to easily find your collected fragments. For this fragment you may want to use tags like "art leonardo mona_lisa".
After clicking on "create" the fragment will be saved into you account. You will see all the fragments if you click on "Select" when you are logged in on select-arrange.com.
To upload text from another website you just select the part of the text that you are interested in and the right-click into that selection. Now the same will happen as with the image explained above: A new window will open where you can give the text fragment a name and some tags. At this point you can also edit the text.
But how to print the collected fragments? For this you need to click on "Arrange". For every print you need to create a project. After doing so you will see all your fragments on the left side and a box on the right side. To arrange your fragments to a printable PDF you need to click on a fragment on the left side and drag it onto the "Drag you fragments here"-box:
You can change the order of the fragments by dragging them around on the right side. Please click "Save Project" before clicking on "Generate PDF". In the "Project options" you can change the title and the layout of your project.
Such a generated PDF with your fragments could look like this:
